These photographs were taken from my bar stool where a multitude of rowdy humans share a fascination for physical extremes. The only time my eyes gaze the screen is through a lens.
It's interesting to me to see something through many lenses, something that's alive in a strange, far away sort of way. Capturing random moments, expressions from weirdo televised world, trapped "live".

Miwa Yanagi's work elaborate fabrications parallel Moffatt's in their disruption of traditional perception and fantasy-soaked imagery. Her work is on view through May 4th at the Caroline Wiess Law Building at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houson.

Merging Myths and the Everyday "Fiction for Real", an exhibition National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, has 14 works exclusively by women on display. Among these is the photographic fiction of Sophie Calle. Weaving color and dream-like imagery, Calle's work recalls a really juicy nap.
